Key Responsibility Areas
- Flight Operations
- Conduct UAV flight operations in manual and autonomous modes (VLOS/BVLOS)
- Maintain strict flight line safety and SOP compliance
- Support compliance with UAV flight regulations and certification processes
- Pre Post Flight Activities
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections ensuring airworthiness
- Manage battery cycles (electric UAVs) and fuel systems (IC engine UAVs)
- Telemetry Monitoring
- Monitor basic telemetry during flights using Mission Planner and QGroundControl
- Ground Support Maintenance
- Support Ground Support Equipment (GSE) setup and calibration
- Perform routine airframe, propulsion, and avionics maintenance checks
- Testing Reporting
- Assist as test observer during flight trials and document observations
- Assist in post-flight data analysis and prepare test reports
- Collaboration
- Collaborate with senior engineers during integration and flight campaigns
