Role Summary:

Looking for a VP / SVP Finance to lead the organization's finance charter across financial controllership, accounting, financial reporting, taxation, audit, corporate finance, FP&A;, business finance, financial governance and strategic decision support. This is a senior leadership position requiring a hands-on finance operator who understands the numbers deeply while also being able to operate as a strategic partner to the CEO and business leadership. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in Strong MNCs/ Big 4 / audit / assurance, followed by significant experience in fintech, financial services or a high growth technology organization. We are specifically looking for someone who has progressed from technical finance and controllership into broader business and strategic finance leadership.

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Finance Leadership & Strategy- Own the overall finance function, drive scalable finance operations, and partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategy, profitability, cost management and financial decisions.

2. Controllership & Reporting- Lead accounting, financial closure, reporting, reconciliations, controls and process automation, ensuring accuracy, integrity and timely reporting.

3. Audit, Governance & Controls- Oversee statutory/internal audits, strengthen financial controls and governance, identify control gaps, and drive timely remediation.

4. Corporate Finance & FP&A-; Lead AOP, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, business reviews, variance analysis, KPI tracking, unit economics and scenario planning.

5. Business Finance- Partner with business and functional leaders on financial evaluation of products, partnerships and strategic initiatives, while driving financial ownership across teams. Also, lead negotiations with vendors for availing optimal commercials.

6. Tax & Regulatory Finance- Oversee direct/indirect taxation, statutory compliance and finance-related regulatory matters,



including evaluation of tax and financial implications of new structures and transactions.

7. Fintech / Financial Services Finance- Drive robust financial reporting and reconciliations across lending and financial-services businesses, while partnering with Product, Risk and Operations on financial risks and scalability.

8. Treasury & Cash Flow- Own cash-flow forecasting, liquidity, working capital visibility, banking relationships and capital planning.

9. Board & Leadership Reporting- Provide CEO, leadership and board with clear, forward-looking insights on financial performance, risks, opportunities and strategic priorities.

10. Restructuring- Lead finance related aspects of corporate restructuring and collaborate with external consultants and lawyers to bring such endeavours to fruition, as and when required.

11. Team Leadership- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team across controllership, FP&A;, business finance and accounting, fostering strong ownership, analytical rigor and financial discipline.

Requirement:

1. Qualified CA finance leader with 10 to 14 years of overall experience, preferably with a robust Big 4 audit / assurance / consulting foundation.

2. Significant post-Big-4 experience across corporate finance, controllership, FP&A;, business finance or broader finance leadership.

3. Strong preference for experience in fintech, NBFC, digital lending, payments, financial services or technology.

4. Strong expertise in financial closure, reporting, statutory audits, internal controls, accounting, taxation and financial governance.

5. Proven capabilities in financial modelling, forecasting, AOP, budgeting and business performance management.

6. Experience partnering directly with CEOs, founders and senior leadership on financial and strategic decisions.

7. A strong blend of Controllership, Corporate Finance, Business Finance, Governance, and Strategic Finance.

8. Should be equally comfortable deep-diving into financial statements, controls, compliance and governance while partnering closely with the CEO and leadership team on business strategy, profitability, growth, and long-term value creation.
