Assistant Team Lead (ATL) Job Description

Position: Assistant Team Lead Warehouse Operations

Roles & Responsibilities

- Support the Team Lead in managing daily inbound, outbound, sorting, scanning, loading, and dispatch operations.
- Supervise Process Executives and allocate manpower based on operational requirements.
- Monitor team productivity, attendance, discipline, and shift-wise performance.
- Ensure shipments are processed within the defined SLA/TAT and operational targets.
- Conduct shift huddles and communicate daily targets, process updates, and priorities to the team.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety guidelines, quality standards, and operational processes.
- Monitor shipment accuracy and minimize errors, damages, misroutes, and process deviations.




- Identify day-to-day operational issues and resolve them or escalate critical concerns to the Team Lead/Operations Manager.
- Prepare and maintain daily MIS, productivity reports, and shift handover updates.
- Coordinate with internal teams, transporters, vendors, and other stakeholders for smooth operations.
- Support training, coaching, and performance improvement of team members.
- Ensure proper shift handover and closure of pending activities.
- Assist the Team Lead in manpower planning, productivity improvement, and process compliance.
- Maintain a safe, disciplined, and productive working setting within the assigned area.
- Take ownership of the shift in the absence of the Team Lead and ensure uninterrupted operations.
