Project: Sorbitol and IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) manufacturing project
**Location:** Durgapur, West Bengal, India (full-time deployment at client site)
**Duration:** ~12 months (fixed term)
**Experience:** 4-10 years

**Role Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee planning, execution, and delivery of the Sorbitol and IPA manufacturing project . The role involves coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction activities, managing schedules, budgets, and contractors, and ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to safety and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Lead end-to-end project management across planning, execution, commissioning, and handover

- Develop and maintain the integrated project schedule; track progress, identify delays, and drive recovery plans

- Manage cost control, budgets, and change management

- Coordinate with the client, EPC contractors, vendors, and consultants

- Oversee procurement and delivery of equipment and materials against project timelines

- Monitor site construction activities for quality, safety, and compliance

- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks

- Prepare and present periodic progress reports (weekly/monthly) to client leadership

- Ensure adherence to HSE standards and statutory requirements (including PESO, factory licensing,



and pollution control board norms)

- Manage interfaces between civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines

**Required Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering

- 4-10 years of relevant project management experience, with a solid track record in industrial or process projects

- Robust grounding in project management principles and practices

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

- Willingness to be deployed full-time at the client site in Durgapur

**Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage)**

- PMP certification

- Strong scheduling expertise (Primavera P6 / MS Project)

- Experience in chemical, petrochemical, or process manufacturing projects

- Formal education or training in Construction Management
