Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Medical Coding professional to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in coding across multiple specialties and proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of coders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of medical coders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Review and assign codes for E/M – IP & OP Multispeciality, ED, Anesthesia, Radiology cases.
- Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and conduct regular audits to maintain quality.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve coding queries and ensure timely deliverables.




- Train and mentor junior coders to enhance skill sets and productivity.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, client requirements, and compliance guidelines.

Requirements

- 5–12 years of medical coding experience with at least 2+ years in a team lead role.
- Strong knowledge of E/M, IP & OP Multispeciality, ED, Anesthesia, Radiology coding.
- Certified coder (CPC/CCA/CCS or equivalent) preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Immediate joiners with proper relieving documents.
- Must have own laptop/system with reliable internet connection.
