Job Title: Sales Manager Freight Forwarding

Locations: Bangalore & Goa

Job Description

We are looking for experienced Sales Managers with a strong background in Freight Forwarding / Shipping / Logistics to drive business development, customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business through field visits, cold calling, referrals, networking and digital platforms.
- Generate leads from importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders and logistics partners.
- Promote Air Freight, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL), Road Transportation, Customs Clearance, Warehousing and Project Cargo services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and existing customers.
- Understand customer logistics requirements and provide customized solutions.
- Prepare freight quotations, negotiate rates and close business.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations and business negotiations.
- Coordinate with Operations, Pricing, Documentation and Customer Service teams for smooth shipment execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and freight rate fluctuations.
- Maintain sales pipeline, customer records and regular sales reports.




- Ensure timely follow-up and payment collection in coordination with Finance.
- Lead and guide the sales team to achieve business targets.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics or related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Logistics or Supply Chain Sales.
- Strong knowledge of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Import/Export, Incoterms and Customs procedures.
- Proven track record in B2B sales and business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong customer acquisition and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Valid driving licence preferred.
