Optometrist (Full time)

An-Noor Eye Hospital is looking for a skilled, dedicated and patient-friendly Optometrist to join our clinical team on a full-time basis. The candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, assisting ophthalmologists, performing diagnostic tests and providing quality eye care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Conduct refraction, retinoscopy and subjective refraction.
- Perform auto-refraction, tonometry and other basic diagnostic tests.
- Assist ophthalmologists during OPD consultations and clinical procedures.
- Identify refractive errors and recommend appropriate spectacles.
- Explain test results and provide clear instructions to patients.




- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments.
- Coordinate with the optical department for spectacle prescriptions.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of optometry equipment.
- Maintain hygiene, patient safety and high standards of patient care.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Optometry (B.Optom preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience preferred; freshers with good clinical knowledge may also apply.
- Good knowledge of refraction, diagnostic equipment and basic ophthalmic procedures.
- Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate with ophthalmologists and other staff.
- Responsible, punctual and professional attitude.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
