We are looking for a target-driven Business Development Manager to grow sales of our drone surveying, GIS, LiDAR, DGPS and engineering survey services. You will find current opportunities, meet clients, and turn leads into projects with government departments, infrastructure companies, EPC contractors, engineering consultants and private organisations.

Domain experience is mandatory. This role is open only to candidates with a background in the drone, geospatial, GIS, surveying, LiDAR or DGPS industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new opportunities through field visits, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and market research.
- Generate and qualify leads across drone survey, mapping, GIS, DGPS, LiDAR, topographical survey and other geospatial services.
- Follow up on leads and convert them into projects.
- Meet prospective clients to understand their project requirements and recommend suitable survey and mapping solutions.
- Present CESTA's capabilities to clients in infrastructure, construction, mining, utilities,



renewable energy and government sectors.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, technical presentations and commercial offers.
- Coordinate with the technical, GIS, drone operations and project teams to ensure smooth execution after order closure.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, activities and pipeline in the CRM.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering (or a related field).
- 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in the drone, geospatial, GIS, surveying, LiDAR or DGPS sector.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and client relationship skills.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities and consistently meet sales targets.
- Self-motivated and proactive, and willing to travel extensively across India.
