Oracle Database Architect

Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Database Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise-grade database infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you will define the strategic roadmap for database technologies, ensuring scalability, high availability, and robust security across complex IT environments. This position is critical for maintaining the integrity and performance of our core data systems, supporting mission-critical applications, and driving innovation through advanced architectural solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design and architect scalable, high-performance Oracle database solutions, including the implementation of Oracle RAC clusters and Exadata environments.

- Develop and oversee comprehensive strategies for data replication and synchronization using Oracle Golden Gate to ensure business continuity.

- Lead performance optimization initiatives by conducting deep-dive analysis of execution plans, refining query structures, and tuning system parameters.

- Establish and enforce rigorous backup and recovery protocols utilizing RMAN to guarantee data resilience and rapid restoration capabilities.

- Implement and maintain advanced security frameworks to protect sensitive data within the Oracle ecosystem.

- Configure and manage Oracle Data Guard solutions, including both physical and logical standby configurations, to support disaster recovery objectives.





- Provide architectural guidance on Oracle Exadata and ExaCC platforms to maximize hardware and software synergy.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database strategies with broader organizational IT goals and business requirements.

Requirements Requirements:

- Minimum of 12 to 15 years of skilled experience in database administration and architecture within the IT Services sector.

- Proven expertise in Oracle Golden Gate Replication for real-time data synchronization and migration.

- Advanced proficiency in performance tuning, specifically in query optimization and system-level performance analysis.

- Deep knowledge of RMAN Backup and Recovery procedures, including automation and disaster recovery planning.

- Strong background in Oracle Database Security, including access controls, auditing, and encryption standards.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata and ExaCC architectures and their specific optimization techniques.

- Comprehensive understanding of Oracle Database Architecture, including storage structures, memory management, and instance configuration.

- Extensive practical experience in deploying and managing Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) for multi-node high-availability implementations.

- Mastery of Oracle Data Guard, with the ability to configure and troubleshoot both physical and logical standby databases.

- Salary expectation: ₹20-25 LPA.
