Job Description
Dean – CSE/ECE Department
Location: Medchal, near Kompally, Telangana.
Salary: As per UCG Norms
Reporting to: Director / Principal
Department/Portfolio: As assigned by the Management
The Dean will operate within the authority delegated by the Director/Principal and institutional governance framework.

Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the CSE/ECE departments.

- Oversee academic planning, curriculum development, and implementation.

- Lead faculty recruitment, performance evaluation, mentoring, and development.

- Promote research, innovation, publications, consultancy, and industry collaborations.

- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements, including AICTE and NBA, wherever applicable.

- Monitor teaching quality, student performance, placements, and overall departmental outcomes.

- Develop industry partnerships and encourage internships and placement opportunities for students.

- Coordinate with department heads, faculty members, and institutional management.

- Support institutional development, academic administration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

- Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering (CSE)



or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from a recognized institution.

Experience

- Extensive academic and administrative experience in engineering education.

- Prior experience in academic leadership, such as Dean, Director, Principal, or Head of Department, is preferred.

- A solid track record in research, publications, faculty development, and institutional administration is desirable.
