Principal Programmer Analyst

Reports To: Associate Director or above
People Management: No direct reports

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Programmer Analyst to serve as a technical lead across multiple clinical technology initiatives supporting Biostatistics, Centralized Monitoring, and Clinical Data Management.

In this role, you will lead the design, development, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications, databases, and data integration solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions that improve operational efficiency, data quality, application performance, and business decision-making.

This is an individual contributor position with significant responsibility for technical leadership, mentoring, project leadership,



and subject matter expertise across multiple technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the technical lead for clinical application development projects supporting Biostatistics, Centralized Monitoring, and Clinical Data Management.
• Lead technical decisions and establish development standards and best practices.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance GUI-based applications used by clinical teams to review, validate, modify, and manage clinical operational and study data.
• Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft .NET technologies and C++.
• Build and maintain enterprise integrations across .NET/C++ applications, Microsoft SQL Server databases, and Snowflake repositories.
• Design and develop SQL Server and Snowflake database structures, including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and automated data integration processes.
