Application Developer - Microsoft Analytics

Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our IT Services team, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimizing advanced analytics solutions. This position focuses on leveraging Microsoft's analytics ecosystem to transform complex data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between data engineering and business intelligence, ensuring robust data warehousing strategies and high-performance dashboard implementations that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

- Architect and develop embedded analytics solutions using Power BI Embedded to deliver secure, scalable reporting tools.

- Utilize R programming for advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and custom data visualization enhancements.

- Design and maintain effective data warehousing architectures to support enterprise-level data integration and storage needs.

- Monitor and optimize dashboard performance to ensure rapid load times and a seamless user experience for stakeholders.





- Implement comprehensive BI security protocols to manage data access, row-level security, and compliance requirements.

- Build dynamic reports and interactive visualizations using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query to meet evolving business requirements.

- Develop and tune complex SQL queries and stored procedures using SQL Server and T-SQL to support backend data operations.

Requirements Requirements:

- Proven professional experience of 6 to 9 years within the IT Services sector, specifically in application development.

- Deep expertise in the Microsoft analytics stack, with a strong command of Power BI, Power BI Embedded, and SQL Server.

- Proficiency in R programming for data manipulation and statistical computing.

- Solid background in data warehousing concepts and best practices.

- Demonstrated ability to optimize dashboard performance and implement robust BI security measures.

- Advanced skills in writing complex DAX formulas and utilizing Power Query for data transformation.

- Strong proficiency in T-SQL for database development and query optimization.
