Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) India

Location: Indore (Office Based) Working Pattern: Full-time, 5 days per week, office-based Reports To: Director GCC & People & Culture Director Direct Support: Factory-based IR & HR Operations Resource

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Human Resources People Partner (HRPP) to lead the People agenda across our India operations, covering both the Global Capability Centre (GCC) and Manufacturing facility.

This role will act as the primary HR business partner for approximately 150+ employees in the GCC and work alongside a dedicated Industrial Relations (IR) resource supporting a factory workforce of approximately 600 employees. In addition to overseeing day-to-day HR operations, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the transition and expansion of HR shared service activities from the UK into India, helping establish scalable and effective global HR support processes.

The role also incorporates responsibility for administration, workplace services, and facilities management across the India operations.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering

Partner with business leaders to drive people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.

Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and engagement.

Support organizational change initiatives, restructuring activities, and workforce transitions.

Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives across both GCC and Manufacturing.

HR Operations & Compliance

Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and employment regulations.

Oversee employee lifecycle processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, promotions, and exits.

Support payroll, perks administration, HR systems, and policy implementation.





Collaborate closely with the factory IR lead to manage industrial relations matters and statutory compliance.

Manufacturing & Industrial Relations Support

Provide HR leadership to the manufacturing site while partnering with the local IR resource.

Support workforce planning, manpower optimization, and productivity initiatives.

Monitor employee relations trends and proactively address workforce concerns.

Global HR Shared Services Transition

Lead the migration and transition of selected HR activities from the UK to India.

Identify opportunities to centralize and streamline HR processes through the GCC.

Build scalable HR operating models, service levels, and governance processes.

Collaborate with UK and Germany stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition of services.

Administration & Facilities

Oversee administration and facilities operations for India locations.

Manage vendor relationships, workplace management, security, travel administration, and office services.

Ensure a safe, compliant, and productive working environment.

People Scope

GCC Employee Population: ~150 employees.

Manufacturing Workforce: ~600 employees (supported through dedicated IR resource).

Multi-site responsibility across office and factory locations.

Candidate Profile

Experience

10+ years of progressive HR experience.

Proven HR Business Partner experience supporting senior leaders.

Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or industrial environments.

Solid understanding of Indian labour laws and employee relations.

Experience managing HR transformation, shared services, or global process transitions is highly desirable.

Exposure to HRIS implementations and process standardization would be advantageous.
