Role Overview
The Mule Soft developer ensures robust, secure, and scalable enterprise integrations by leveraging the full Mule Soft Anypoint Platform—covering design, development, API management, governance, deployment, operations, monitoring, and B2B capabilities.

- Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design & Strategy:
- Design and implement Mule Soft integration solutions, ensuring they align with enterprise architecture standards and business requirements.
- Define API-led connectivity strategies, including experience, process, and system APIs, using Mule Soft Anypoint Platform.
- Develop and enforce integration standards, patterns, and best practices across the organization.
- Create detailed architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and documentation for integration solutions.

- Lead the technical design and development of complex Mule Soft applications and integrations.
- Oversee the development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment of Mule Soft assets.
- Provide expert-level guidance and mentorship to development teams on Mule Soft technologies and integration patterns.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, performance, and security best practices.

- Manage and configure Mule Soft Anypoint Platform components, including Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, and Design Center.
- Define and implement CI/CD pipelines for Mule Soft applications to ensure automated and efficient deployments.
- Monitor the performance and health of Mule Soft integrations, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure optimal workplace setup, scaling, and high availability of Mule Soft runtimes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust integration solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with other architects (e.g., enterprise architects, solution architects) to ensure alignment across different technology domains.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.

- Stay abreast of the latest Mule Soft features, industry trends, and emerging technologies in the integration space.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and practices to enhance the integration landscape.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for integration processes, tools, and methodologies.

• Define high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the current and future state, typically in sync with the IT budgeting or other capital planning processes.
• Own the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
• Coach, mentor and collaborate with technical domain specialists and EA peers to develop technology architecture that enables and drives new business capabilities
• Assist with designing the governance, assurance and standards activities associated with ensuring enterprise technology architecture compliance.
• Oversee, or consult on, technology implementation and modification activities (for example, projects), particularly for new or shared infrastructure solutions. Consult on application or infrastructure development projects to harmonize systems or infrastructure with the enterprise technology architecture, and identify when it is necessary to modify the enterprise technical architecture (ETA) to accommodate immediate or future project needs.
• Lead all aspects of and facilitate the research, evaluation, and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations.
• Identify the organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures and culture) and financial impact of the enterprise technology architecture.
• Document necessary enterprise technology architecture design and analysis work, possibly including project postmortem documentation and metric collection.
• Help the enterprise architect define metrics to measure and demonstrate enterprise technology value.
• Understand, advocate, and augment the business and IT strategies — and, more specifically, EA development and service delivery. Be prepared to "sell" the EA process (overall, not just for enterprise technology architecture), its outcome and ongoing results, and to lead the communication or marketing activities needed to ensure enterprise success and use
• Develop technical architecture designs and solutions;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements;
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks to support the architecture;
• Ensure the technical architecture aligns with security and performance requirements;
• Lead the implementation and integration of the technical architecture across the software development lifecycle;
• Provide guidance and support to development teams on architectural best practices;




• Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure the architecture meets evolving business needs and technological advancements.
