- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to source high-quality fasteners at competitive prices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify current part development opportunities and implement zero-based costing strategies.
- Manage vendor development activities, including negotiating pricing agreements and ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
Job Requirements :
- 5-7 years of experience in component development, forgings, or similar field.
- Strong understanding of fastener manufacturing processes and materials science.
- Proven track record in price negotiation and supplier development.
- Excellent customer handling skills with ability to build strong relationships.
