Job Description Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Position: Senior Engineer – Mechanical Maintenance
Experience: 5–8 Years
Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle machine maintenance and ensure maximum equipment availability.
- Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical systems, machines, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Handle fixture maintenance, repair and modification.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Identify root causes of machine failures and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with production and other departments for maintenance requirements.
- Maintain maintenance records, spare parts and breakdown reports.
- Ensure safety standards and maintenance procedures are followed.
- Guide junior technicians/engineers and monitor maintenance activities.

Required Skills:

- Solid knowledge of mechanical maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience in fixtures, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical assemblies.
- Good problem-solving and team-handling skills.
- Experience in manufacturing/automobile industry preferred.
