HMJ Developers is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee purchasing activities, vendor management, and procurement operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials at competitive prices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain purchase records.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand material and procurement requirements.
- Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Verify the quality, quantity, and specifications of purchased materials.
- Track purchase expenses and maintain procurement documentation.
- Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, material quality, and supplier payments.
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with the stores team to avoid shortages.
Required Skills
- Positive negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement procedures and purchase documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements efficiently.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in purchase or procurement.
- Experience in vendor coordination, quotation comparison, and purchase order processing.
- Candidates with experience in the real estate, construction, or building materials industry will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
