Summary

Reporting to the Head of Product, the Director of Platform Engineering owns the reliability and operational health of the products that generate the vast majority of Armor’s revenue. That means Armor Enterprise Cloud (private cloud hosting, firewalls, WAF, OS templates, backups),

Armor Agent (endpoint and EDR), and the infrastructure underpinning Armor MDR. When these systems go down, customers feel it immediately, and renewals are at risk. This role is responsible for keeping them running, making them cheaper to operate, and reducing the amount of human effort required to do both. If you think of reliability engineering as a product discipline rather than an ops cost center, this is your job.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Additional duties may be assigned as required)

• Own uptime, SLA adherence, and incident response for Armor Enterprise Cloud, Armor Agent, and MDR infrastructure. When something breaks at 2am, your team is the one that gets paged.
• Lead the SRE and infrastructure engineering team. Set on-call rotations, define escalation paths, run blameless postmortems, and make sure the same incidents don’t keep happening.
• Define and maintain SLIs/SLOs across all pro
