Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
* Month end close activities management, posting of month end adjustments/accruals/other Journal entries.
* Ledger scrutiny and analysis with resolution
* Fixed asset Accounting (Creation, Disposal, Modifications, Depreciation, Reconciliation)
* Reconciliation- Bank, Prepayments, Accruals, Provisions, AP, AR, Inter Company recons, Tax accounts
* General Ledger account maintenance
* MIS preparation, Tax compliances maintenance and accounting
* Operational Excellence through Process documentation, Process Quality Initiatives
* Attending to audit queries - preparing Statutory Accounts




* Ensuring regular communication with Business Unit personnel to ensure issues are resolved immediately
* SOX compliance for related activities

What You Need to Succeed
Experience

* Prior Experience of 1-3 Years
* Journal Entry preparation and posting
* Fixed Asset process understanding
* Has been doing Reconciliation- Bank, Prepayments, Accruals, Provisions independently
* Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
* Ledger scrutiny

Qualification

* M.com, Inter CA or equivalent.

Technical skills

* SAP working knowledge
* Accounting fundamentals: Knowledge of Accounting standards, USGAAP, Audit management, SoA compliance. Solid understanding of the process. Should be able understand accounting flow of entries in different types of accounts.
* Basic MS Word & advance Excel knowledge
* Languages: fluent in English (written and spoken)
