About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (.NET) to join our development team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and SQL Server, along with experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance web and enterprise applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web and enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.

Build and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and SQL Server.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.

Write clean, reusable, secure, and maintainable code.

Contribute to application architecture, database design, and technical decision-making.

Debug, troubleshoot,



and optimize existing applications to improve performance and reliability.

Identify and resolve application security, scalability, and performance issues.

Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards and software quality.

Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and other developers.

Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Recommend improvements to application architecture, code quality, and development processes.

Ensure the timely delivery of reliable, secure, and high-quality software.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in .NET application development.

Strong hands-on experience with:

C#

ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC

NET Framework and .NET Core

Microsoft SQL Server

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, design patterns, and software architecture.

Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.

Positive knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Java Script, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

Experience with Git or other version control systems.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Strong debugging,



troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to develop secure, efficient, and maintainable applications.

Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Preferred Skills

Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React.js, or Vue.js.

Familiarity with Entity Framework or other ORM frameworks.

Exposure to Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.

Knowledge of application security, scalability, and performance optimization.

Experience integrating third-party APIs, cloud services, and external systems.

Familiarity with modern software architecture and development practices.
