Role Purpose
As a Senior Consultant within the IT Category team, you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives and manage complex procurement activities across a range of IT sub-categories, including Hardware, Software, SaaS, Network, Telecom, and Colocation services. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver value through cost optimization, commercial excellence, risk management, and innovative sourcing strategies. This role requires strong category expertise, stakeholder management skills,
and the ability to lead high-value sourcing projects in a energetic global environment.
Responsibilities
Category Strategy & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the subject matter expert for one or more IT procurement sub-categories, including Hardware, Software, SaaS, Network, Telecom, and Colocation services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across business functions and geographies.
• Build and maintain stakeholder engagement plans and category-specific communication strategies.
• Identify business needs and translate them into sourcing and procurement strategies that support organizational objectives.
• Ensure effective supplier relationship management for strategic and preferred suppliers.
Sourcing & Procurement Delivery
• Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including market analysis, supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, and implementation.
