About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Metal Laser Designer to create accurate, production-ready drawings for metal laser cutting at our handicrafts furniture unit. The ideal candidate will have a robust command of AutoCAD, a practical understanding of CNC laser cutting, and the ability to work closely with the production team to ensure smooth execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Create accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings for CNC metal laser cutting.
• Develop designs and patterns for metal sheets and components.
• Prepare CNC laser cutting-ready drawings and files.
• Understand material thickness, dimensions, cutting requirements, and tolerances.
• Modify designs according to production requirements.
• Coordinate closely with the CNC/production team to ensure smooth execution.
• Optimize designs for productive material utilization and minimum wastage.
Key Requirements
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Practical understanding of CNC laser cutting of metal.
• Knowledge of DXF/DWG files and CNC-ready drawings.
• Understanding of metal sheet design, dimensions, and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work closely with production teams.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates from Jodhpur and nearby areas will be preferred.
