Position: Social Science Teacher

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to teach students, develop their understanding of social, historical, geographical, and political concepts, and create an engaging learning setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach Social Science subjects, including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics, as applicable to the assigned grade levels.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
Monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
Use interactive teaching methods, activities, and real-life examples to enhance learning.
Maintain classroom discipline and encourage critical thinking and student participation.
Coordinate with parents, colleagues, and school management regarding students’ progress.




Participate in school activities, academic meetings, and training programmes.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Science or a relevant subject.
B.Ed. qualification preferred.
Prior teaching experience in a school setting is preferred.
Good communication, classroom management, and lesson-planning skills.
Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and student-friendly learning environment.

Preferred Skills:
Strong subject knowledge and effective teaching abilities.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Student-centric approach with a focus on academic development.
Familiarity with curriculum planning and assessment methods.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
