Export Merchandiser – Textile & Apparel

Pashma, a premium manufacturer and exporter of cashmere, silk, linen, cotton scarves, apparel, and home textiles, is looking for an experienced Export Merchandiser to independently manage international buyer orders, production coordination, and shipment follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities
Manage export orders from sampling and product development to final shipment.
Communicate with international buyers regarding specifications, approvals, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with production, sourcing, quality, and shipping teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Prepare costings, quotations, T&A; calendars, and order tracking reports.
Supervise and coordinate with shipping executives for export documentation, logistics, and dispatch.
Handle buyer/vendor portals, including vendor registration, product data entry, order updates, compliance documentation, and shipment details.




Maintain accurate order records and MIS reports.

Requirements
3–7 years of experience in textile, apparel, or home-textile export merchandising.
Solid understanding of fabrics, manufacturing processes, sampling, and costing.
Working knowledge of export-import procedures, shipping documentation, customs requirements, Incoterms, and basic export compliance.
Hands-on experience with international buyer/vendor portals, including vendor onboarding, data uploads, and order management, is mandatory.
Proficiency in MS Excel and robust written and spoken English.
Ability to independently coordinate with overseas buyers, production teams, and shipping executives.

Preferred: Experience with USA/European buyers and premium textile export houses.
