Role & responsibilities
Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle databases in cloud settings, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Manage Oracle Autonomous Database, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
Monitor database performance and perform SQL tuning and query optimization.
Implement database security, user access management, patching, and upgrades.
Troubleshoot database issues and ensure high availability, reliability, and data integrity.
Support database migration from on-premises environments to the cloud.
Automate routine database administration tasks using scripts.

Required Skills:
Robust experience in Oracle Database administration (Oracle 12c/19c or later).
Hands-on knowledge of OCI database services and cloud infrastructure.
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, RMAN, and Data Guard.
Knowledge of database backup, recovery, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
Experience with Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting.
Understanding of cloud security, networking, and high-availability concepts.
