Role & responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations: Manage and scrutiny of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and verification of accounting vouchers and PO/WO issued.
Financial Reporting: Oversee the month-end, quarterly and year-end financial closing processes, and prepare accurate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports for Board approval.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets, track revenue and expenses, and build long-term financial forecasts.
Compliance and Tax: Ensure adherence to local tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards like GAAP or Ind AS.
Risk and Controls: Maintain internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.
Coordination with Auditors: coordinating with statutory & tax auditors for timely audit completion and closure of audit observations.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train,



and mentor accounting and finance staff for improvement and betterment in system & processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: B.Com / M.Com or related finance & accounts degree.
Certifications: Qualified credentials such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
Experience: 6 to 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or accounting software such as SAP Hana.
Soft Skills: Solid analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and transparent verbal and written communication.
