Job Objective

To support the maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and machinery in a dairy processing plant, ensuring smooth plant operations, equipment reliability, and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, operation, inspection, and maintenance of dairy plant machinery and equipment.
Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimise equipment downtime.
Monitor the functioning of pumps, motors, compressors, chillers, boilers, and other mechanical equipment.
Assist in maintaining dairy processing equipment such as milk chilling systems, pasteurisers, homogenisers, storage tanks, and pipelines.
Identify basic mechanical faults and coordinate with senior engineers for troubleshooting and repairs.
Maintain maintenance records, equipment checklists, and daily operational reports.
Coordinate with production and utility teams to ensure smooth plant functioning.
Follow workplace safety procedures, food hygiene requirements,



and plant maintenance standards.
Assist in spare-parts inventory management and maintenance planning.
Participate in equipment inspections and support continuous improvement activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
0–1 year of experience; freshers may also apply.
Basic understanding of mechanical equipment, pumps, motors, and industrial machinery.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred.
Basic computer skills and documentation abilities.
Willingness to work at the dairy plant and learn plant operations.
