Qualification - B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or Mechatronics.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diesel engine calibration for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and off-highway applications.
Optimize engine performance, emissions, air path, and fuel path under steady-state and transient conditions.
Perform sensor and actuator calibration.
Work on After-Treatment System (ATS) calibration, characterization, and modelling.
Conduct vehicle drivability assessments and recommend calibration improvements.
Analyze ECU software gaps and suggest improvements to engine management functions.
Plan and monitor engine tests, track progress,
and implement corrective actions.
Required Skills
3+ years of hands-on experience in diesel engine calibration and Engine Management Systems (EMS).
Solid understanding of engine testing, combustion, performance, and emission development.
Experience in after-treatment system selection and calibration.
Working knowledge of calibration and data logging tools such as INCA, ATI Vision, VISU, and CANalyzer .
Experience with AVL Concerto, CAMEO, MATLAB, Simulink, or Python .
Experience in OBD calibration will be an added advantage.
Solid communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
