Job Title: Maintenance Technician – Electrical & Mechanical

Experience: 2–3 Years (Preferred)

Job Purpose To ensure the smooth and productive operation of electrical and mechanical equipment, production machinery, and utility systems by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and breakdown repairs in a food manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain electrical panels, wiring, sensors, switches, contactors, relays, and motor control systems.
Inspect and maintain food processing, frozen food, and packaging machinery.
Identify equipment faults and minimize machine downtime through timely corrective action.
Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, tightening, alignment, and replacement of worn-out parts.
Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance checklists.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure machinery availability and smooth production operations.
Follow electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work requirements wherever applicable.
Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with food safety, hygiene,



and plant safety standards.
Support installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery and equipment.
Monitor spare parts availability and inform the Maintenance Head about repair and replacement requirements.

Required Qualifications
ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
2–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food manufacturing or FMCG company.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and industrial troubleshooting.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance, machine breakdown handling, and safety practices.
Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.

Required Skills

Knowledge of motors, pumps, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
Problem-solving and teamwork.
Maintenance documentation and reporting.
Strong focus on safety, hygiene, and equipment reliability.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
