We are looking for a skilled and result-oriented Commodity Trader with 5 to 9 years of experience specializing in the physical trading of spice commodities, with expertise in market analysis, sourcing, procurement, and import-export operations across PAN India and international markets.

Role & responsibilities
Manage and execute physical commodity trades efficiently across PAN India and international markets, ensuring timely transactions and smooth trade execution.
Analyze trade data, market trends, pricing, and trading performance to generate insights and optimize future trading decisions.
Build and maintain robust business relationships with domestic and international suppliers, buyers, importers, exporters, and other key stakeholders.
Develop and implement effective trading strategies to maximize profitability and expand business prospects in domestic and global spice markets.
Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify sourcing opportunities, price fluctuations, supply-demand trends, and new business prospects across PAN India and international markets.
Identify and develop new suppliers, buyers,



and distribution channels to strengthen the company's domestic and international trading network.
Coordinate end-to-end import-export operations, including negotiations, trade documentation, logistics, shipment coordination, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor commodity market developments, competitor activities, and global price movements to support informed trading decisions.
Stay updated on regulatory changes, import-export policies, international trade regulations, and industry developments affecting commodity trading.
Collaborate with procurement, sales, logistics, finance, and quality control teams to ensure efficient execution of domestic and international commodity trades.

Preferred candidate profile
Strong understanding of import-export regulations and procedures.
Minimum 2 years of experience in commodity trading, preferably in spice commodities.
Robust knowledge of market dynamics, pricing, and trading principles.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in trading software and systems.
