Role & responsibilities
Forecast Preparation: Collect and analyse historical sales, market trends, and promotional inputs to generate demand forecasts.
Data Analysis: Use statistical models and tools to identify demand patterns and improve forecast accuracy.
Inventory Support: Provide inputs to inventory planning teams to balance stock levels with demand.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to incorporate business insights into forecasts.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on forecast accuracy, demand trends, and variances.
System Utilization: Implementation of forecasting tools (SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, JDA, Excel) and ensure data integrity.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
