At Drucks, we're building one of the world's first consumer footwear brands powered entirely by additive manufacturing.Every shoe begins with an individual's feet, not a standard mold. We are building the complete technology stack that makes this possible, including computational design workflows, digital manufacturing tools, custom software, proprietary manufacturing processes, and advanced FDM 3D printing. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving engineering problems through computational design and automation.
The Role
Build the Grasshopper systems that turn foot scans into production ready, made to measure shoes. You'll automate geometry, not model it by hand.
What You'll Do
Build parametric GH definitions from scan and measurement data
Create reusable logic that works across product lines and thousands of unique fits
Solve complex organic surface and SubD problems
Fix definitions that break on edge case foot shapes
Turn manufacturing constraints into rules inside the definitions
Maintain and optimize the design automation pipeline
Must Have
Deep Grasshopper skills: data trees, multi stage definitions, performance optimization, debugging
Robust Rhino skills: surface, solid, and SubD modelling, organic geometry, geometry repair
Scripting in Python, RhinoPython, or C# (would be a plus)
You'll Fit If You
Would rather build the tool that makes 1,000 shoes than model one
Automate anything repetitive
Enjoy hunting down data tree bugs
