Convert approved product designs into accurate, production-ready engineering data using imos software covering system/parametric engineering, cutlists, BOMs, CNC program files, and costing – so that manufacturing and procurement teams receive complete, error-free data for every order.
Key Responsibilities
System Engineering: Build and maintain parametric modules, product systems, and material/hardware databases in imos for current and existing product ranges.
Optimising for Production: Optimise existing systems and build platforms & systems with the objective of reducing change over time, increasing optimisation and reducing manufacturing costs.
Cutlist Generation: Generate accurate cutlists and optimize panel/material utilization for production.
BOM Creation: Create Bills of Material (BOM) for carcass, shutters, hardware, and accessories for each product/order.
Program File & Documentation: Generate CNC program files and production drawings for panel processing, edge banding, drilling, and cutting operations.
Costing: Prepare raw material and packaging material (RMPM) cost estimates for current SKUs and product variants.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with Design, Prototyping, and Production teams to translate design intent into manufacturable engineering output, and resolve technical queries during production.
Quality & Error Resolution: Review engineering output for errors before release, track recurring issues, and support root-cause fixes to improve first-time-right output.
