Typical Responsibilities
Writing and revising AMM procedures.
Converting engineering data into maintenance instructions.
Creating task cards, troubleshooting guides, and maintenance procedures.
Working with engineering, design, and certification teams.
Ensuring compliance with aviation standards such as ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, FAA, and EASA requirements.

Skills Required
Aircraft systems knowledge (Airframe, Powerplant, Avionics).
Understanding of AMM, IPC, SRM, FIM, and WDM manuals.
Technical writing skills.
Knowledge of S1000D, XML, Arbortext, FrameMaker, or similar documentation tools.
Familiarity with FAA/EASA regulations.

Preferred Qualifications
AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering)
B.Tech/B.E. Aerospace, Mechanical, Aeronautical
Aviation maintenance experience with airlines, OEMs, or MROs
