Job Summary

Star Polymers is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance team. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of practical experience in accounting, taxation, bank reconciliation, and statutory compliance. Candidates with experience in a manufacturing setting will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
Assist in GST accounting, reconciliation, and preparation of GST returns.
Handle TDS calculations, deductions, accounting, and related compliance.
Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in payroll accounting and statutory deductions, including PF, ESI, and TDS.
Verify vendor invoices, purchase bills, and supporting documents.
Maintain vendor ledgers and perform account reconciliations.
Assist in monthly and annual financial closing activities.
Support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits by providing necessary records and documents.
Review accounting entries, identify discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records.
Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting tasks and statutory documentation.

Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com)



or an equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and basic statutory compliance.
Working knowledge of accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime; ERP experience will be an advantage.
Positive MS Excel skills and numerical accuracy.
Robust attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently on routine tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates with experience in manufacturing, trading, or a similar industry will be preferred.
Candidates with practical exposure to purchase accounting, vendor reconciliation, and inventory-related accounting will have an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
