About the Role

Vet Planet India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the company’s day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using Tally and Zoho Books and have a sound understanding of accounting principles, GST, and financial documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
Handle sales and purchase entries, receipts, payments, journal entries, and bank transactions.
Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and vendor accounts.
Assist with GST returns, TDS workings, and other statutory compliance.
Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including follow-ups.
Assist with monthly closing, expense tracking, and preparation of financial reports.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure records are properly organised.




Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, and auditors as required.
Protect the confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Practical knowledge of Tally and Zoho Books.
Understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with spreadsheets and accounting reports.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organisational skills.
Positive communication and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred
Experience working with inventory, stock, or distribution-related accounts.
Familiarity with e-invoicing, e-way bills, and accounting documentation.
Experience supporting audits and month-end closing.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
