Duties and Responsibilities
Perform rigging activities for lifting, shifting, loading, and positioning heavy materials, machinery, steel structures, and ship components.
Select and use appropriate lifting gear, including wire ropes, slings, shackles, hooks, chain blocks, and other rigging accessories.
Inspect lifting tools and rigging equipment before use and report any damaged or defective equipment to the supervisor.
Attach and secure loads properly to ensure secure lifting and transportation.
Assist crane operators during lifting operations using standard hand signals and radio communication.
Guide crane operators to position loads accurately and safely at the designated locations.
Ensure that loads are properly balanced and secured before lifting.
Assist in lifting and positioning steel plates, pipes, structural components, machinery, and other shipyard materials.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
