Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad, covering positions across the kitchen team (Head Chef, Senior CDP, CDP, Commis) and front-of-house (Restaurant Manager, Barista). Kitchen team members are responsible for daily food preparation, cooking, plating, maintaining hygiene standards, and coordinating with the front-of-house to ensure smooth service.

The Head

Chef and senior kitchen roles oversee menu execution, stock management, kitchen operations, and mentoring junior team members. Front-of-house team members manage guest seating, order taking, coffee and beverage preparation, and overall customer experience, including handling feedback and resolving issues promptly.



All team members collaborate to maintain a clean, protected, and welcoming environment, support opening and closing procedures, and uphold Joon Specialty Coffee’s quality and service standards.

Qualifications
Robust food preparation and cooking skills with attention to taste, presentation, and consistency.
Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and cleanliness best practices.
Clear and professional communication skills for effective coordination within the team and with guests.
Customer service mindset with the ability to provide a welcoming, responsive, and respectful guest experience.
Experience in café, restaurant, or specialty coffee settings; barista skills and familiarity with coffee equipment are an advantage.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and handle peak service periods.
Basic understanding of inventory management, ordering, and waste control (especially for senior kitchen and restaurant management roles).
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
Previous experience in similar roles is preferred; formal culinary or hospitality training is a plus.
