We are looking for an experienced Maintenance-Mechanical Engineerto manage and maintain mechanical equipment and utilities in our chemical manufacturing plant. The candidate should have hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment used in chemical/process industries.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment to ensure minimum production downtime.
Maintain and repair:
Pumps, Vacuum Pumps and Valves
SS / MS / Lead-Lined Vessels
Cooling Towers and Chilling Systems
Boilers
Hot Oil Units / Thermic Fluid Systems
Inspect equipment condition and identify potential mechanical failures.
Coordinate with Production and other departments for planned and breakdown maintenance.
Maintain maintenance records, checklists and equipment history.
Coordinate with external vendors/contractors for specialized repair and maintenance work.
Ensure availability of critical mechanical spares and support maintenance planning.
Follow plant safety procedures and ensure safe execution of maintenance activities.
Support continuous improvement and reliability of plant equipment.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
3–7 years of relevant maintenance experience in a chemical/process manufacturing plant.
Valuable understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment will be preferred.
