Functional Test Lead

Key Responsibilities
Lead functional discovery workshops with business, product, application, and testing stakeholders.
Assess business processes, application landscape, testing scope, dependencies, and quality practices.
Evaluate test coverage, requirements traceability, release readiness, and defect management processes.
Identify gaps across functional testing, UAT support, governance, and operating models.
Define future-state functional testing organization, roles, staffing, and knowledge requirements.
Support KT, transition planning, shadow/reverse-shadow activities, and ownership transfer.
Collaborate with Architecture, Automation, Performance, and TDM teams to shape the target-state testing model.
Develop transition roadmaps, KPIs, SLAs, governance frameworks, and transformation recommendations.
Present assessment findings, risks, and improvement prospects to client leadership.





Required Experience
10+ years in Functional Testing or Quality Engineering with 5+ years leading testing programs or managed services engagements.
5+ years of experience in Facets healthcare system
Experience in discovery, due diligence, transition assessments, and testing operating model evaluations.
Solid healthcare payer domain expertise across Claims, Enrollment, Membership, Billing, Provider, Prior Authorization, Care Management, and EDI transactions.
Proven experience in workforce planning, organizational design, and stakeholder management.
Familiarity with Jira, qTest, Azure DevOps, and contemporary QE practices.
