Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Science or a relevant subject.
B.Ed. with relevant subject specialisation required as per school and applicable CBSE norms.
Robust understanding of the CBSE curriculum and assessment framework.
Experience
2–5 years of teaching experience in middle school, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes.
Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments and assessments.
Use interactive teaching strategies, activities and real-world examples to enhance learning.
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain academic records.
Maintain classroom discipline and support students’ academic and personal development.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to improve learning outcomes.
Required Skills
Solid subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in student-centric and activity-based teaching methodologies.
