Mechanical Engineer with robust hands-on experience in hydraulic systems, especially Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs) used on ships.

Role & responsibilities
Install and commission HPUs and hydraulic systems onboard ships.
Work with hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, manifolds, accumulators and piping.
Perform pressure testing, leak testing, flushing and oil filling.
Troubleshoot hydraulic problems and carry out repairs/servicing.
Participate in FAT, IFAT, Harbour Trials and Sea Trials.
Read and understand hydraulic circuit diagrams, P&IDs; and mechanical drawings.
Support mechanical equipment installation and alignment.
Prepare service, inspection and commissioning reports.
Coordinate with shipyard, electrical, PLC and other project teams.

Preferred candidate profile
Mechanical Engineer with 35 years of hands-on experience in:
Shipbuilding / Naval / Marine industry
Hydraulic systems or HPU servicing
Industrial hydraulics and hydraulic equipment
Installation, commissioning and troubleshooting
Shipyard or onboard vessel work
