Job Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day mechanical maintenance and shop-floor activities.
Handle preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
Supervise and allocate work to technicians, fitters and contract manpower.
Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and ensure minimum machine downtime.
Monitor equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
Ensure timely completion of maintenance activities and planned shutdown work.
Maintain daily maintenance reports, breakdown records and equipment history.
Monitor availability of critical spares, tools and maintenance materials.
Read and understand mechanical drawings, equipment manuals and technical specifications.
Ensure proper implementation of 5S, safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Guide and train technicians/workers on proper maintenance practices.
Identify recurring breakdowns and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Maintain good housekeeping and ensure protected working conditions on the shop floor.

Candidate Profile
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Relevant experience in manufacturing / plant / heavy engineering / industrial maintenance preferred.
Candidates with strong hands-on mechanical maintenance and team-handling experience will be preferred.
Willingness to work on the shop floor and handle breakdown/emergency maintenance activities.
Accommodation Provided by Company Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
