Role & responsibilities
Conduct regular inspection and monitoring of the Fire Pump House, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hydrants and Hose Reels across the plant to ensure full operational readiness.
Identify and report unsafe acts and unsafe conditions on the production floor, and drive timely closure of corrective actions.
Monitor and administer the Work Permit System (Hot Work, Cold Work, Confined Space, Height, etc.) to ensure secure execution of all plant activities.
Maintain and update all safety-related documentation and formats as per the defined SOPs.
Carry out periodic safety audits/rounds of fire safety equipment and permit records to ensure compliance with statutory and company safety standards.
