Job Summary
Step Up School is inviting applications for the position of PGT Mathematics. We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-focused educator who can effectively teach Mathematics to Classes XI & XII (CBSE) and inspire students to achieve academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics to Classes XI & XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans and classroom activities.
Conduct regular assessments, tests, and examinations.
Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations and competitive examinations.
Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
Maintain attendance, academic records, and progress reports.
Use smart classroom technology and innovative teaching methodologies.
Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings, staff meetings, school events, and training programmes.
Mentor students and create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
M.Sc./M.A. in Mathematics or B.Tech/M.Tech (Mathematics-related discipline)
from a recognized university.
B.Ed. from a recognized institution (preferred/mandatory as per CBSE norms).
Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (preferred).
Robust command of Mathematics concepts and problem-solving techniques.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, Probability, Statistics, and Applied Mathematics.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Student mentoring and classroom management abilities.
Solid organizational and time management skills.
Passion for teaching and continuous learning.
