Role & responsibilities
Plan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons as per CBSE curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets and assessments.
Explain mathematical concepts using practical examples and student-friendly methods.
Conduct regular tests, assignments and examinations and evaluate student performance.
Maintain student notebooks, academic records and assessment data.
Identify learning gaps and provide remedial/support classes to students.
Monitor students academic progress and provide timely feedback.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning workplace.
Conduct doubt-clearing and revision sessions before examinations.
Communicate with parents regarding students academic performance and areas for improvement.
Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, school events and academic activities.
Coordinate with the Academic Coordinator/HOD for curriculum planning and completion.
Use appropriate digital tools, activities and creative teaching methods to improve learning outcomes.
Ensure timely completion of the syllabus and effective preparation for CBSE examinations
