: Key Responsibilities
Manage and administer PostgreSQL databases in production and non-production settings.
Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity.
Troubleshoot database issues and perform root cause analysis.
Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
Implement and maintain database security, access controls, and user management.
Perform database tuning and optimization to ensure efficient performance.
Support database migration and upgrade activities.
Monitor database health and resolve performance and availability issues.
Maintain database documentation and operational procedures.
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL Database Administration.
Experience in database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
Robust knowledge of PostgreSQL performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Experience with backup and recovery strategies.
Knowledge of database security, user management, and access controls.
Experience with high availability and disaster recovery concepts.
Solid SQL and database troubleshooting skills.
