Inspect incoming raw materials, components and bought-out parts as per approved specifications and quality standards.
Perform in-process inspection at different stages of lift manufacturing and fabrication.
Conduct final inspection of lift components and assemblies before dispatch.
Check dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, welding quality, alignment and assembly accuracy.
Inspect fabricated components such as sheet-metal parts, laser-cut components, brackets, frames, cabins and doors.
Verify components using Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, measuring tape and other inspection instruments.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, specifications and inspection standards.
Identify and record quality defects, deviations, rework and rejection.
Raise NCRs / rejection reports for non-conforming materials or components.
Coordinate with Production, Fabrication, Assembly,



Purchase and Engineering teams for defect resolution.
Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure production follows approved samples and drawings.
Monitor critical quality parameters and ensure compliance with control plans and inspection checklists.
Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring defects.
Maintain inspection reports, rejection records, quality check sheets and calibration records.
Ensure measuring instruments are properly calibrated and maintained.
Support 5S, continuous improvement and quality improvement activities on the shop floor.
Follow company quality, safety and housekeeping standards.
Assist Quality Engineers/Supervisors during customer inspections, audits and final product verification.
