Role & responsibilities:
Plan and schedule Machine Shop production activities to ensure timely completion of manufacturing processes within defined targets and resources.
Identify and resolve technical issues related to Machine Shop machines, equipment breakdowns, and process inefficiencies.
Monitor product quality through inspections to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.
Lead and supervise operators and technicians by providing training, technical support, and performance feedback.
Ensure Machine Shop readiness for internal and external ISO (9001, 14001, 45001, etc.) and IRIS audits by maintaining updated SOPs, NCRs, job cards, calibration/validation certificates, qualification records, and other required documents.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for identified non-conformities and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).




Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.
Act as the point of contact for auditors and facilitate audits by ensuring the availability and accuracy of all required documents, records, and evidence.

Preferred candidate profile
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and quality control.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and audit requirements.
Robust team management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in production planning and ERP/MRP systems.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as welding, bending, rolling, machining, and tooling.
Knowledge of GD&T; and basic engineering principles.
Proficiency in MS Office, CNC/ISO programming, Eurotherm Controllers, and tooling.
Knowledge of metrology instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Slip Gauge, and Trimos.
