Looking for an experienced 4G/5G L1 & Radio qualified with solid expertise in LTE/NR PHY Layer, DSP, RF and antenna technologies. The role involves designing and implementing PHY algorithms, optimizing L1 performance, mentoring teams, and driving large-scale 4G/5G L1 product development.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement LTE/NR PHY algorithms and procedures .
Optimize L1 for latency, throughput and CPU/DSP/GPU/FPGA utilization .
Interface with Radio/RF, L2 and fronthaul subsystems .
Debug PHY issues using logs, IQ captures and lab equipment.
Mentor high-performance L1 teams and drive delivery excellence.
Drive large-scale 4G/5G L1 product development, sustenance and customer support .
Work across eNodeB/gNodeB, vRAN, ORAN and custom platforms .
Communicate with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Required Experience:
12+ years of PHY/RF software development experience .
Additional experience driving 4G/5G L1 programs .
Solid experience in L1 optimization and radio/PHY development.
Experience with large-scale 4G/5G product development and customer support.
Leadership Requirements:
Ability to mentor and guide high-performance L1 teams.
Experience driving delivery excellence.
Ability to communicate effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.
